Terminals in LinuxMint

Post by theevilone6620 »

I know that the Gnome Terminal is what is generally used in LinuxMint but I had found another terminal in Mint and I cant remember what it was or how to access it.

If anyone caN HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT. All i remember is that i had to launch it from a terminal which made it pretty pointless but it was a basic terminal. Didnt have the multiple tab options, and the ability to customize the look of it the way that the GnomeTerminal does that is accessed via the Mint Menu.

iF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT AND CAN HELP ME REMEMBER HOW TO LAUNCH IT THAT WOULD BE GREAT

It's not xterm or rxvt? To launch it, on the desktop type alt-f2 then in the window which opens type the name of the app that you want to open. You can do a shortcut in the panel if you want. :D
