I was casually working in Mint when I got the Trojan warning , looked like a programme loaded automatically appeared to scan a few files and reported 23 infections. I backed out and recognize the familiar programme logo, its the same programme that being hitting our office PC systems for months.
This is Linux do I have to worry , is the firewall in Mint loaded automatically or do I have to do something.
Thanks

Re: Virus Warning
I find it very hard to believe that is a program running under Linux. Are you sure it wasn't one of those malware javascript websites that tells you you have infections when you actually don't? Were you using the browser when this happened? If so, what web page were you at?
Re: Virus Warning
Cant recall I will be careful to note it if this happens again. Thanks
