New to Mint

Hi all,

I am currently using PCLinux2007. However, I like what I have been reading about Mint.

When the KDE version is released I am thinking of trying it out.

Do you use the same repositories as Ubunto/Kbunto? Also, is it easy to upgrade to the next release when it becomes avalible.

Thanks for answering'

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Yes it uses the same repos as Ubuntu.
Upgrading means changing repos and doing dist-upgrade.
Make sure you backup first.
Things can break.

I prefer a fresh install myself !!!

Hi,

Thank you both for the good advice.
Waiting patiently for the KDE version.
