I can't see any icon when trying to set some to a launcher

Postby wdc on Thu Jun 28, 2007 1:06 am

you know that when you create a new launcher or a new file you can select the icon to assign to it clicking in the icon image in the properties of the new file, but now i can't see any icon, all a see is a path (/usr/share/pixmaps/) but no icon to choose, also if i browse that path all i can see are the *.png files (and others) but with a "default" icon, not the icon image itself, how come?

see this image:

how can i fix this?

thanks in advance.

best regards.

that theme may have turned thumbnails off, or some setting like that to see the pic/icon.

Now where was i going? Oh yes, crazy!

Open any folder and Click "Edit>Preferences>Previews"
Under "Other previewable files" make sure it doesn't say "never" under "show thumbnails"
