I have previously had problems installing/ compiling this driver. There are drivers for Linux on Jensen site, but I still found it very hard to follow instructions.
Is this easier in "Helena".
I was told these drivers would be included in the next kernel, but how far away is that. I will use 64-bit when it is available.

The link to the Ralink Linux page here However Ralink seems to have some problems with their website so there are a bunch of 404 right now
The open Ralink project or rt2x00 project is found here and Ralink contributes a coworker to this project
According to this page Ralink in in the mainline kernel since 2.6.24 so you should have a connection out of the box
There are also some drivers in /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/drivers/i386

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
