Aptitude Question

Was just wondeirng if someone cal tell me what the 'A' means in a aptitude list.

I have quite a few things installed that say the following when I pull them up in aptitude:

i A amule-common - common files for the rest of aMule package

I cant seem to understand what the A stands for? Is it a problem??

The reason I ask is that I am trying to get Firefox to open Ed2k links automatically when clicking on them. Normally, firefox will open Amule and then begin downloading whatever file the link points to. This is automatically done when using Emule on Windows, although I cant seem to get it to work on Linux. When I click an ed2k link I get a popup message that says firefox doesnt have a protocal to handle ed2k links. I read up on this in the ubuntu forums and was told, to make sure the amul-utils package is installed. Which it is although it has a A next to it which I think may be causing the problem? This is why I m asking to eliminate it as an issue if it has nothing to do with problems. I am suppose to install that package and then add a few new keys to the about config menu in firefox, which I have done but still cant open the links.

If anyone can explain the A to me and could also help me with the ed2k links that would be great.
