Immediately after installing Cassandra after using Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 I found in my home directory a folder named "Network." It is owned by root and has nothing in it, so I tried to delete it in a root terminal with rmdir. I received the following message.
"Device or resource busy."
I can't move files into the "Network" folder or do anythng with it, even as root.
What is the folder for?
How can I hide it or delete it?

Network Folder

You must have had /home on its own partition, a wise decision. The network folder must be a leftover from Feisty but why it's owned by root in home....
Seems like it's used by networking - try to turn off all networking before deleting it and sudo rm (or rmdir) is correct
