No wireless internet for Mint?
I got a new laptop and when ever i boot into my mint i dont get any wireless internet!!! why and how can i fix this so i can surf the web wirelessly while using mint!

Mint 7 or 8? Wifi button turned "on" or "fn" keycombo to turn it on enabled? Card make and model?

mint 7m button on laptop for Wifi is on and idk about the combo nd model?!?

If it's a new laptop, try Mint 8, newer libs, newer kernel w/ newer drivers?

yea i tried mint 8 but every time i tried booting into the os i would always gett "error 4" or something, so then i tried 7 and it went well, its said how so many people get so many different problems from ubuntu like os's! anyways is there any other way i can get wifi, cause if not then this is one said OS...
