Thunderbird 3 icon and name changed

Post by Sentken »

Hi,

I have installed Mint 8 and upgraded Thunderbird mail from 2nd to 3rd version using this tutorial (http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/thunderbird). After upgrade I noticed that Thunderbird mail icon changed from the default blue bird to envelope, name changed from Thunderbird to Mail Client. How could I bring back the default thunderbird mail icon/name. Thank you for your answers

Solved. I needed to select other icon set in Appearance Preferences -> Theme -> Customize -> Icons -> Select one of the default mint icon set. I downloaded additional icon sets which don't support default mail icon.
