Mint on a netbook

Postby crouton351 on Wed Feb 10, 2010 5:52 pm

I'll be getting a netbook soon; will there be any problems with putting Mint on it? I would be dual booting windows 7 and Mint. This should work right?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

You shouldn't have a problem running Mint on most netbooks, see this:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=34183&start=0

To maximize available work space on a small screen you might want to try this:

It's quick and easy and significantly increases available space.
