Hi,

I want to install the new version of pidgin messenger but when I download pidging I get a file called pidgin.repo I dont know how to install this type of program. I already tried to convert it with Alien to a .deb but was unsuccesfull. Hopefully someone here can help me out!

Thanks,

This link has the Pidgin and plugins in a .deb, just make sure to get the i386.
It's at the bottom with 2 folders.
