Post by jameskoiman »

[SOLVED] When I enable dual video cards in the bios,it boots back to a black screen with no option to enter anything.I have read all posts on sli problems and none of them fix my problem.I am new to Linux, but so far Linux Mint 8 is fantastic,I love it,and I am even exploring the command line for the first time.If Linux or nvidia would fix this driver problem Linux would be perfect for Me.
Hardware:M2N-sli asus moboard,8 gigs of ram,500gig HD,2 8600GT video cards,185 nvidia driver.Any help would be great! :|

Hey Dude. In the upper right hand corner of the screen is the search box, us it to find a number of useful posts on enabling SLI under Mint. The reason I am suggesting the search and review process is because there are a number of different approaches available and it may be best to review a number of them before you commit to anything. Good Luck
