CheckSum

Post by ozgoofy »

In the install info it says check the md5sum with the one on the website.
Can some one please help me?
I am new to Linux.

Well I found the checksum, but now can't get windows 7 to run it in cmd, it says "md5sum is not a reconizable file name" or some think like that.

Try this:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

It doesn't specifically say that it supports Win7 but this post here suggests it works: (see comments at bottom of page)

http://www.walkernews.net/2009/12/26/ho ... windows-7/

I'm amazed it doesn't have a checksum utility by default :o
