Browsing the Source Code

I'm looking to browse the source code for Envy and the Restricted Package Manager, and would like some assistance...

FTP
Husse, you mentioned the FTP site alluded to on the front page but there's no link. I tried ftp://www.linuxmint.com/ it's looking for a username and a password and I don't know how to get 'em.

Mint Source Code
Does Mint have it's own copies of all the Ubuntu files on the server? Can you browse the CVS/SVN online?

I'm not looking to write anything similar. I'm trying to figure out what to download to install Nvidia drivers on another machine that has no internet connection. I figure the information is in these scripts...

More specifically, I'm planning to:
* use my work pc to download Nvidia driver packages from the Nvidia site on to my USB drive
* download Envy source (python!) on to the stick too
* transfer both to my isolated computer
* hack Envy to look for the Nvidia driver packages on my computer rather than grab them from the web
* run my modded version of Envy to install Nvidia drivers
* enable 3D desktop effects
* bask in 3D mintLinux goodness!

So, apt-get source is not going to work for me. But in general, I'm interested on browsing the mintLinux source online without having to download it all.

You will need to satisfy all the dependencies of the packaging scripts which Envy uses.

Thanks Husse, but I'm back to my old problem that I don't have internet access on my linux mint box. I was hoping to browse online at work...

you might create your DVDs with the repositories you need (which you will use offline) by following this guide:
