Is there a way to configure my Mint environment re the order by which filenames are sorted so that it matches my XP setup. In Windows I have named some specific folders with the '_' prefix which causes them to show up first (e.g. _zzname comes before aaname when listing files - what I want)).
I notice that Linux ignores this prefix and just sorts/displays on the first alpha char in the name - is there a way to override this behaviour?
TIA,
BrendanC

You could try a couple of mouse clicks resort the directory
--for example in lxde, pcman file manager, after running through a few sorts (a few mouse click selections); I can get _sample displaying first, when reset back to the original sort
