Thanks for the reply MintHat.
Well I guess maybe my ISP might be blocking me.
I will try again at home tonight...
I did download from one of the mirrors but I just
wanted to seed for others... Oh well....
Maybe I uploaded too much for my ISP's liking ;-)
(see attached pics) :-)

Your welcome.

I see that it's using the open bittorrent tracker.
It is possible that the tracker is down.

See this article:
http://torrentfreak.com/hollywood-lands ... nt-100522/

Note:

Apparently the open bit-torrent tracker is considered illegal, the downside of this, is that legal torrents such as a Linux distro are affected as-well.
I'm not sure it is actually down though.

To mods: It's not my intention to have a discussion about illegal file-sharing, but I thought that this article is relevant in this case.
Please let me know, if it is preferred, that i delete the link.

Edit: Tracker is not working, but if you turn on pex and dht you can still connect

clem has posted on the blog about this:
http://www.linuxmint.com/blog/?p=1416

I have no idea if or when openbittorrent will be back up. Previous to this, http://www.publicbt.com worked to be a backup open tracker project (see their site).

When Hollywood 's efforts brought down openbittorrent a few days ago, I have had good luck by adding to my bit torrent client:

http://tracker.publicbt.com/announce

udp://tracker.publicbt.com/announce

IMHO: Hopefully this is a temporary fix, but sadly if openbittorrent does not come back up online, we will need to rebuild our network of Linux Mint seeders for leechers to pull from..
