Missing a few Compiz animations

Post by ProfoundBuzz »

I just wiped 8 and installed 9 (x86_64)and am in the process of setting up the 'eye candy'.

However, I have noticed a few animations like beam, flames etc are missing from the selection.

Have they been removed, or am I just tired and blind?

And apologies for the double question, but is it possible to adjust the mouse line scroll (ie 6 lines instead of 3)

The first one.
Menu>Package Manager> "compiz-fusion-plugins-extra" - For the extra animations.

Not sure exactly what you need in the second question, but the mouse settings can be found via Menu>Control Center in the Hardware section.

Thank you for that. I also forgot to select the animations Add-On...

As for the mouse issue, I'm basically trying to increase the mouse scrolling speed in windows / browsers.

The MS equivalent is the vertical scroll setting. The default is 3 lines per scroll, but I adjust it to 6 for quicker scrolling.

The Menu>Control Center>Mouse doesn't appear to have a similar option.
