I searched for the mint channels but they are not existing.
I conected to the ubuntu irc servers and to freenode.
But there are no channels.
Could someone please give info where are those channels?

Found them.
Never used irc intensively.
So if anybody is reading this:
You have to create a new IRC server. (f.w. in quassel or xchat)
Name: Any
Address: irc.spotchat.org
After you are conected you can enter the channel: #linuxmint
