Add new panel things?
Is there a way to add things to the add to panel bit? Those little widgets or whatever they are like weather or fish, i want better weather and other stuff

Search for applet in Synaptic.
There's quite a few in there.
Make sure you choose "Gnome" applets.
If you Google "gnome panel applets" you'll find a few links worth checking out.

You can also drag and drop pretty much anything onto the panel. Try with anything you might want there. There might be some exceptions, but it worked with everything I wanted to add.
