I've been using Ubuntu for the last several months, but just installed Linux Mint 9 yesterday. I'm getting a weird problem with the resolution. There's "flickering" in solid shapes and when I play video, objects have a glow or halo around them. I have tried changing the resolution via the Control Center, but don't see a difference.
I'm running Minty 9 on a Dell 1521 with an embedded video card, so nothing fancy. Any ideas? I did not have this problem with regular Ubuntu 9.04.
Thanks!

Re: Resolution Issues
I've been advised that it might be a driver problem with my embedded Dell video card. How do I update the video drivers?
