I am thinking I may need to rebuild this drive and wondered about saving my mail that is in Thundermail. Does anyone know how to export it out so I can re add it back later to my new setup?

Re: Saving Thundermail
If you're using Thunderbird (never heard of Thundermail myself...), all your e-mails and settings are stored within the hidden ".thunderbird" folder in your Home folder (/home/<username>/.thunderbird). You can safely copy that folder and migrate it back to your new Home folder once you're finished with rebuilding your drive.
