[SOLVED] How to increase mouse pointer size?

Mint9 Menu->Control Center->Mouse

...I don't see anything in this dbox for increasing mouse pointer size--Is there a way to do this, an add-on or something?

Assuming this is a standard option for people with vision problems, I also tried Assistive Technologies ->Mouse Accessibility
...but get same Mouse dbox with no options for pointer size.

If you look under Control Center>Appearance>Theme>Customize>Pointer, it's down at the bottom.

However, in this version of Mint/Ubuntu, it does not work for some reason.

Maybe it's a bug. Maybe someone with some more skill can tell us how to get it to work.

In past editions it worked well.

Some mouse cursors are bigger than others.
I have Obsidian installed from http://www.gnome-look.org it is a black cursor with a white outline and is quite a bit bigger than the default cursor.
The size adjustment slider in the Pointer section of Appearance Preferences doesn't seem to work in Mint 9.
There may be some other cursors available in larger sizes but at the moment I can't check as gnome-look appears to be down.

Got it--thx, good info. Just did this in Ubuntu10.04 and it works fine--though pointer changes size depending what it's hovering over--over title bars, reverts to original small size. Will try in Mint9 later.
