An apology

Post by mr.magoo »

To all you Minties, old and new,

I apologize. I'm just a frustrated, impatient jerk sometimes. I'm just really anxious to get off the ground with Helena after having fruitlessly fought with Vista for months, but I've let my shortcomings stunt my learning curve. I've done a lot of ranting and raving because of my own lack of self-worth. I am quite overwhelmed with life as a whole, but that's no reason to take it out on you folks. So, hopefully, here's a softer, mellower.... still mumbling Mr. Magoo.

Don't worry, we understand how frustrating it can be to get stuff working in Linux. Back when I was a newbie, I struggled in the same way you're doing right now to get a grasp on the basics, and through perseverance, I sure have learned a lot about Linux! ;)

Life can be frustrating dude, we get it, and it's understandable. I've sen you quite annoyed with things, but we all get frustrated, just step away, take a breath, and try not to let it weigh you down. After all, we're here to support one another. :)
If you accept - and I do - that freedom of speech is important, then you are going to have to defend the indefensible. That means you are going to be defending the right of people to read, or to write, or to say, what you don't say or like or want said.
