Celena bugs

Post by oliverjames »

Overall impression good however a few small bugs to iron out:

Install partition manager has tendancy to want to resize an existing partition when I edit it.

Install partition manager takes long time to scan at every edit action.

Installer doesn't find profiles to import.

Tried to block Kernel updates during secondary install process but this did not work.

Opeoffice is installed without icon sets (and minus the pretty Mint splash deco (don't like the ubuntu version that loads.

Hardware detect doesn't pick up my external (to laptop) Viewsonic screen. HAve to config xorg manually.

However the new Grub splash sreen approach means that I can at least see some of the screen output during boot process!

Handsome visuals, generally good impression. Doesn't seem much work to do before final release.
