hi im a new member .just installed mint [cracking OS] i am in the process of installing all my bits .i have installed my canon printer but i need to install my canonscan lide 100 ant help please

As far as I know there is no supported drivers for Canon Lide greater than 60, as you may see on sane database: http://www1.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html
I have also a Canon (Lide 90) and I use a virtual box with winXP for such needs (not only a scanner :) ).
