Good evening, I've just taken the plunge and installed Mint, and i'm very impressed but i've hit a problem with installing my Brother MFC425CN printer.
I've found that I need to install the mfc210 drivers to get the printer to work.
I've downloaded and installed mfc210clpr-1.0.2-1.i386.deb and got the following result from the Package installer. package 'mfc210clpr-1.0.2-1.i386.deb' was installed.
I then downloaded cupswrapperMFC210C-1.0.2-3.i386.deb and got the error failed to install package 'cupswrapperMFC210C-1.0.2-3.i386.deb'
Now I'm stuck.
Can someone be so kind as to give me a step by step idiots guide to installing the printer drivers, so that I can get my printer working.
Any help will be gratefully received.
