How do you put in the drivers for either the IFriend scanner or the Mustek 1248UB scanner, please ?

Re: How to install scanner drivers...?
Hi
I have a Mustek 1248ub scanner, and it needs a firmware file which I attach in this zip file. Simply extract the zipfile in to your home directory and you will see a single file called SBSfw.usb. Then open a terminal and simple copy this file in to the /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/ directory by typing (or cutting and pasting) the following command;
sudo cp SBSfw.usb /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/
Once copied your scanner will be raring to go, and recognised by Simple Scan and all other Scan software. Works brilliantly too.
Cheers
