I have installed the Guayadeque music Player http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1380811 on 2 different computers
on one computer, the updates come through synaptic
on the other I can't find [the Guay Player] in synaptic or the software manager .
both were clean installs [same live CD] with in the past couple of months, current on all other updates
any suggestions

Check your repositories in Synaptic Package Manager and make sure both computers have the same ones checked.
