help my icons are giant
just installed mint 8 because for some reason if i try 9 i get that it cannot display video mode so now i use 8 but everything is huge and i cant fix it can someone help me?

This is probably a resolution issue, but more info is needed. Please check the link to the forum rules in the red box above your original post. Also, after providing the information requested in the forum rules, open a terminal and paste the output from the following command --
