Hi,
I want to install ibm db2 express c in my linux mint 7 system. I downloaded the tar.gz file from the ibm website. When I tried to unzip using archieve manager it exits giving the following error. I have tried the same by logging in as root, but it again created the same error.

I'm not sure exactly which version of IBM DB2 Express-C you are trying to load, but please check out this website, go to the Downloads link on that page, and you will see that it is available for a variety of operating systems. Obviously, you need the Linux version, either 32bit or 64bit, depending on your processor.
