[SOLVED] How to install USB HSDPA Modem Option iCON 225

Hi,

Yesterday I installed linux mint 9 Isadora standard x86 gnome version for the first time. To be honest this is my second encounter with a linux system, that means that I am a total newbie. Installation was easy, and later on I was impressed how simple and beautiful desktop environment is, and the list of applications is stunning.

But I have a problem, big one. I don't know how to install USB HSDPA Modem Option iCON 225
Image.
I got my modem from Simobil, mobile operator in Slovenia (it's the same like that one on the upper image).

I read about HSO driver on http://www.pharscape.org/icon225.html. It looks like solution, but on the other hand like I said I am a total Newbie and don't understand anything.

Please help me to install USB Modem.
It would be nice to have step by step instructions, followed by the screenshots.

I am very grateful for any kind of help.

Option Icon 225 works perfectly on MInt 9. Plug Option on before Mint´s booting, and select NetworkManager and New Connection.. It should be easy.. :D

Option icon 225 indeed works with mint9. It was easy to configure, I followed instructions in NetworkManager and at the end I just entered pin code of my sim card and delete the phone number and that's it.
