Mintmenu disappear?

Hi everyone,
my Mintmenu disappear? I installed AWN. I can open Mintmenu by opening terminal and type "Mintmenu". Mintmenu appears in a little window . How I can get it back like I installed Linux?

Well spotted! I would have thought so too, but I tried killing the mintmenu process (on a VM) and starting it from the command line and got pretty much identical output to cbl. The mintmenu icon and the word Menu appeared just like it would on the task bar - only in a window, but fully functional. So - back to the drawing board.

Oddly, I no longer had a mintmenu on that VM, even after a restart, but simply adding it to the panel again fixed it. I guess you tried doing that cbl?

I corrected this situation like this:

1)Terminal and "gnome-pannel"
2)desktop: Alt f2 and "gconf-editor"
Navigate to Desktop>Gnome>Session>Required Components
I added "gnome-shell"

When I open my computer, I have AWN, my panel and MintMenu.

On login, I received an error message that mintmenu failed and asked if I wanted to reload, but this did not accomplish anything. Here's the output from the terminal:
