I am very new to all linux, so bear with me. I recently installed Ubuntu on my Dell inspiron 1525, which was dual booting Vista and the newly installed Ubuntu. After several weeks of trying, I could not get the driver for my Network connector (Broadcom BCM4312) installed. I decided to switch to Mint instead. I haven't installed it yet, but I made a LiveDVD. Does anybody know if the connector will work with Mint, and if not if it will be easy to install the driver?
Thanks,

mintMenu > Control Centre > Hardware Drivers. Your Broadcom card should be detected, and the Hardware Drivers GUI should prompt you to install the proprietary Broadcom driver. Note that you will need an active internet connection (i.e. ethernet) to be able to download the driver.
