What keeps asking for a password
  • Router
  • Network manager
These forums, search query: network manager keeps asking for password..

Some context would help here, perhaps the router manufacturer etc, if that turns out to be the problem: at the moment it is not entirely clear which, router or network services on Linux, aka the Network manager..)
If it is the network service connection on Mint, right-click the network manager icon and check your settings for password
--presumably a secured connection wired or wireless (wireless, wpa mode) or the ISP's account password for the Internet

You should also check that you have the Gnome keyring installed
In termial, check

Code: Select all

apt search gnome-key
i gnome-keyring - GNOME keyring services (daemon and tools)
...
i libgnome-keyring0 - GNOME keyring services library
