start menu
just installed mint 9 shortly afterwards i lost my start menu any idears i am currently using the apple style launch bar which works ok but no start menu ?

have you tried right clicking on the desktop then going in to applications=>preferences(settings)=>panel? In there you should find some panel options. If you are using a dock(Apple style) you may have disabled the panel. Unless the dock was put in afterwards.
