How to load drivers from synaptic?

Post by THR »

I just used synaptic to download a 3DFX driver for my Voodoo 5500 card. But I can't get a resolution higher than 800x600. How can I be sure it was loaded.. :?:

Hi,

Logging out & in back normally do the trick. Or a reboot.

Or you might need to configure it somewhere, like 'Preference' -> 'Monitor'
