I'm not sure but I think it's installed by default. I recently removed a lot of video drivers I don't need.
Open synaptic (Install Software) and search for unichrome
If it's not installed it's just to go ahead.
I'm not sure about Cassandra but should be the same
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
hello and thanks for the respost...
in xorg.conf i've seen only "vesa". if i change "vesa" in "via" at reboot pc is ko...
however, i can use vesa driver (i've seen that webpage scroll well ), but the big problem is that i can't configure my screen resolution. it's 1280x800 and vesa is 800x600...
how can resolve this problem?
1000 thanks...
Apart from nick's solution you should be able to install in synaptic. However I'm not sure at all what the driver is called in xorg.conf - probably via but it could be s3g or unichrome....

Thanks for your help and regards from Italy.
