Hi...
Can anyone tell me how to disable/ turn off the auto update system in Mint?
I'd like to update my Mint machine manually (via sudo apt-get update command).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Update is the theme for the day
We are introducing mintUpdate that lets you control updates in a much better way.
If you get the automatic updates as you say you are probably using Cassandra (or earlier) For Cassandra you can remove update-manager and update-manager-core and then install mintUpdate if you wish

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
