GRUB without timeout

Post by forumito »

How can I boot Linux Mint with 0 sec (and not 10 sec) timeout? There is no menu.lst in the /boot/grub/ directory for me to edit. There is something to edit in the GRUB "boot screen", but I'm lost there.

Now, with "timeout = 0", how do I boot into Windows (if need be)? :o

F8 for BBS (Bios Boot Screen, I heard) gives only 2 HDDs, but both OSes are on the same disk.

I've seen computers where F8 displayed GRUB (if wanted). Are there any other possible keys (ESC, F10, ...) for this?
