Old monitor, small refresh monitor!!!

Postby catalinux on Mon Oct 15, 2007 5:39 am

First, my english is not so good. I need help with my refresh rate. I have an old pulsar monitor, i read a lot of tutorial of xorg change but i can't do nothing. I use celena 3.1 and my default resolution is 50HZ. I want to increase the refresh to 60hz, but i can't. in celena i see that i can configure xorg in grafic mode, but i can't again. Look a print screen

Down i change x and y with 1024*748 and 60 refresh rate, but when i click on add appear an erorr "the option name can't be empty". Please tell like to a newbie, how i can make to change my refresh rate.

Just because of that I don't like this tool - else it's great
I think you use the pull down menu to add a new option and you name it by putting something in the pulldown menu - perhaps "My 60 Hz"
Then it should work - I hope - never tried
