I read that sudo update-grub, and got:

When I installed Linux Mint Isadora, the installation menu (I had to format the /boot - partition, the last time It didn't work) didn't recognize my other systems, I detected no chance to get in a communication to enter the systems I wanted to be integrated in Grub, like some years before by installing Suse Linux 8.x oder 9.x
Well, my questions?
1. Is there a chance to force the startup-manager or the "update-grub" to integrate my other Ubuntu partitions? Else, how can I edit a menu.1st and force Grub or Grub2 to use it? There's GFXBoot, too, but it's not usuable currently...
2. How can I enter or add additional systems when installing other Linux oder Ubuntu Systems?
(By the way: the installation window is not any more full-screen-clickable with Linux Mint 10 or Ubuntu 10.10, it is either minimized or to be closed, no progress, maybe there's a trick to get it full screen)
Thanks for your promt answer!
