Brother MFC5460CN printer

I hope someone can help me I am having trouble installing a printer after goingthrough the motions with trying to install printer drivers I have not been very effective. The issue I have is after trying to install the driver the que asks me to install PPD file and I am having trouble finding this fils to go along with the printer driver. The search can see the correct printer but wants to use the driver in CUPS but this driver does not let the printer print. Anyone can help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you try the instructions given in this thread in posting #2?

EDIT: I found this on a Debian forum .... not exactly your printer model, but maybe the printers are similar enough? (guessing from the model numbers) ...
