Now on ubuntu you just install gstream codecs and ubunt-restricted and streaming quicktime vids will play sound... Im having trouble b/c I did this on Mint and still no source just on apple.com streams and quicktimes. Any help appreciated.

I found the gstreaming package I was missing for codec. I dont like Mplayer as much as gstreamer through totem... dunno Thank though.
