solved:Cant Burn CD

First off I am on mint10
I have a Cd player burner and a DVD player burner

The DVD works fine it plays as well as records

The CD when I try to burn anything to it says the disc is full and it wont allow me to burn to it

I have tried brasero and open CD/DVD creator and neither work

The CD's Im using will burn on a windows setup but not on mint 10

Im hoping someone has an idea whats wrong

Hi!
No direct help; I was waiting some days to see whether a reply appears.
I had troubles with brasero, that's the main reason I have multi boot Windows - Gnome - KDE; with K3B burning program (KDE) I never had a failure. Somewhere I have read that K3b works with Gnome, but I don't know if it is true.

Go grab k3b with the software manager. It works fine under gnome.

i installed K3b and it shows the new cd as empty
I burned an image and it seems to be ok in my cd drive

I took brasero out of my menu its K3b for me
