reverting to Default menu configuration solved

Postby Whiskey83 on Mon Oct 22, 2007 10:46 am

Hi, on a freshly installed system I ran Synaptic Package manager to bring in any updates, an error was reported in one of the packages and the Synaptic stopped gracefully But! the main menu vanished from the bottom bar.

How do i revert back to the original, as installed menu?

Welcome to Mint Whiskey83
I suppose you mean that mintMenu (witn Celena or Cassandra on it) dissappeared
Right click on the panel > Add to panel > Towards the bottom you find Linux Mint Menu

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
