Have installed Linux Mint 10. When I connect USB memory to computer, cannot find it. I want to save documents/giles to it.
Where do you find it. It does not boot up when attached, like in Windows.

Strange. Usually USB drive or USB stick is automatically mounted when plugged onto USB port.Have installed Linux Mint 10. When I connect USB memory to computer, cannot find it. I want to save documents/giles to it.
You can type sudo fdisk -l on terminal and post here, it will check all hard disks, including USB drive / stick you have it on USB port.
