fresh install linux mint everything works fine except every now and then a windows closes itself not sure at all what it could be. its already happened during install of programs in software manager, you would think that it wouldnt allow a close while installing stuff but it did. this would probably obviously hurt something during install.
any ideas thanks

Windows may close for several reasons but mainly if they crash for some reason or if the task for which it was opened has completed. Mintupdate for example will autoclose after an update has completed, this is by design. Your post does not provide enough information to provide a more specific answer.

i can just be playing open arena a full screen game and it will close automatically while im shooting someone or walkin around in it or whatever and regular sized windows and programs like even software manager, nibbles, supertux all have closed after playing . just about any dang windows except google chrome. and stuff. any kind of system folder or game closes by itself. thats whats wierd
