remove HOME on desktop-solved

remove HOME on desktop-solved

I thought I saw a place to do this but I looked all over and I right clicked etc.

I dragged the home icon to the top panel. It seems to laaunch from there. Is there a way to delete the home icon from the desktop without deleteing the actual Home folders and info? If I drag it off does it delete everything? I do not want that.

I thought I saw a way a few weeks ago to pick and choose what you want to display on the desktop but I can no longer find that or find that way.

any clues without my losing all my Home files.

Have you tried Preferences>mintdesktop
I'm new with mint and using Daryna, so as far as I know this may not be an option on other releases :?
