[SOLVED] Login from suspend
I am the only person with access to my computer and find it annoying that I have to re-login every time I suspend or even leave the keyboard for a few minutes. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks.

Re: Login from suspend
Go to Menu=>preferences=>Screensaver and remove the check mark for "Lock screen when screensaver is active".
Next, press Alt+F2, enter "gconf-editor" in the dialogue box, and click "Run". In gconf-editor, scroll down to "gnome-power-manager", open it (click on the little triangle), and .in the right side window, remove the check marks for suspend and hibernate (if you have a laptop).
You will no longer have to log in when recovering from screensaver or suspend.

Re: Login from suspend
Thanks Ageing. My gconf-editor is a little different than you describe, but close enough that I could find my way through, and it worked like a charm. Thanks again.
