Using GIMP how to remove blemishes from photos

Post by Peterkin2 »

I took some pictures but it was lightly raining at the time, so that there were one or two raindrops on the lens, which when I tried to make a print of the photos, these were visible. How do I remove these blemishes, ie. retouch a photo, or airbrush it with GIMP ?

The Resynthesizer plugin for gimp may help you here - http://www.logarithmic.net/pfh/resynthesizer

and a guide to use it here - http://www.scriptol.com/design/gimp/rem ... bjects.php

Works the same way as Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop CS5...
